Ingrid Stevenson (Clinical Director) BVM&S MRCVS, GP Cert SAM
I am from southern Ireland and qualified in 2007. Since qualifying I have worked in Ireland and spent three years working in Australia, which was an amazing experience. I have been working in companion animal practice in England since 2012, and gained my Certificate in Small Animal Internal medicine in October 2013.  The team at Swadlincote are fantastic to work with and everyone is very dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients. I love animals and my little dog Hobbes lives in Ireland with my Mum.  In my spare time I can be found out running, cycling and or jumping into cold open water for a swim!

Kevin Doyle BVMS MRCVS
I qualified in 1994 from Glasgow University, came to work here in Swadlincote that summer, and stayed here ever since! Both staff and clients are very friendly and easy to work with, and that's why I decided to stay.  I enjoy working here, and like both the medical and surgical aspects of my job.  In my spare time I like to walk, cycle and occasionally do the odd track day at Oulton Park, and of course Donington Park.

Anna Rix BVM&S MRCVS
Since qualifying from the University of Edinburgh in 2007 I have worked in mixed animal practice and in an emergency critical care within a referral hospital environment.  I have also done charity veterinary work, both home and abroad, including a month long stint in Rajasthan, India. During my stay there I was working as a veterinary volunteer, treating local villagers pets and farm animals, as well as treating hundreds of stray dogs, goats and cows.  I like to be kept busy!

In May 2015 I started working towards a specialist certificate in Veterinary Opthalmology – an area which fascinates me and I love the challenges that eyes cases bring on a daily basis.  Outside of work my husband and I have a two year old daughter and two rescue dogs, who keep us on our toes!

Reception Staff

Kay Sidle (Administration Manager)
I am the Administration Manager and have been working at Swadlincote Veterinary Centre for many years now. In my younger days I was part of the Nursing Team and now my role is mainly behind the scenes trying to make sure everything runs smoothly.  I also work front of house at reception where I love to catch up with all of our clients and their beloved pets.

Donna Swann
I have been part of the reception team since June 2014. I am an animal lover and have both cats and dogs at home. I thoroughly enjoy my work and the Swadlincote team are a great bunch of people to work with.

Katie Sidle
I have been working at Swadlincote Vets since 2012. Before working here I completed a course in Animal Managment at college. My greatest accomplishment is getting and training my Great Dane, Selda, who I adore.

Sarah Allcock
I worked as a qualified veterinary nurse for many years in Worcester before I became a full time Mum to my three 'spirited' children! I joined the team in February working as a part time receptionist in the branch surgeries at Melbourne and Ashby, which is great. I have really enjoyed getting back working with animals again, never a dull day!

Gill Welch
I joined the reception team at the end of June 2015, working mainly at the Melbourne and Ashby surgeries.  As an owner of a cocker spaniel I understand the ups and downs of being a pet owner and I now love being part of a team that have been there for me over many years.
